David Bacon is a chemical engineer with 35 years in manufacturing. That includes 20 years in full general management roles at three businesses in Canada, Nevada and the Southeast. As CEO of Halocarbon for 11 years, he led a period of strong organic growth built on staying close to customers, creating new demand and expanding into adjacent markets. His experience runs from capital-intensive specialty chemicals and petroleum refining to lighter manufacturing like injection molding and extrusion. He also spent eight years in strategy consulting, half of them at McKinsey.
