CEO, Via Trading Corporation

Background
Jacques Stambouli is the founder and CEO of Via Trading Corporation, a wholesale liquidation and reverse-logistics company he has built over more than 23 years into a scaled platform sourcing overstock, customer returns, and closeout merchandise from retailers, manufacturers, insurance companies, and bankruptcies. Via Trading serves buyers of all sizes, from first-time resellers to established wholesale operators, offering everything from individual case packs to full truckloads. A Harvard Business School graduate, Jacques has also owned and operated businesses outside of distribution, including laundromats, a yoga studio, and a fire pump company, giving him a broad base of general management experience that he believes translates across industries. He is a recognized voice in the re-commerce and circular economy space, speaking regularly at major trade events including ASD Market Week.
Why American Operator
Building a business that lasts is one of the purest expressions of the American Dream, and that is a belief Jacques has lived by for over two decades. He is drawn to American Operator because the model is built around businesses with genuine growth potential and owners who are committed to running them well, which aligns with his own conviction that the best deals are the ones where an operator can build something durable, not just buy a job. His experience across distribution, operations, and general management across multiple industries makes him a versatile resource on the bench, and his instinct for evaluating whether a business has real upside is exactly the kind of perspective that sharpens diligence.
