Background

In 2005, Jeremy Thompson co-founded Schulman Partners to build a circuit of movie theatres in Texas, growing it over a decade to five facilities and 44 screens. Functioning as the company's de facto COO/CIO, he built the business from the ground up across concept development, financials, investor relations, operational design, marketing, technology architecture, and vendor negotiation, while spending most of his time growing and motivating the management team. He has since owned and ran an IT consulting business.

Why American Operator

Jeremy wants to help advance American Operator's mission of keeping great small businesses locally owned and operated and to be a partner to the team however he can. His operating background in family entertainment and event venues makes him a natural fit for consumer-facing, multi-location deals, where he can lend perspective during diligence and mentor operators after close.
