Joe Foster started his career at Bain & Company before moving into product strategy and operations roles at Thumbtack, where he worked at the intersection of skilled trades and technology. In 2022, he made the shift from advising businesses to owning one, acquiring Clear Choice Roofing in Central Texas through his holding company, Chester Companies, with a specific thesis around buying and operating home services businesses.
