Background

Patrick Pugh has over 30 years in heavy civil and highway construction, mostly in Georgia and the Southeast. At APAC-Georgia he ran a statewide asphalt business unit, served on the regional M&A team, and led the estimate for Atlanta's Northern Arc design-build toll road. He went on to lead Magnolia Grading & Paving and spent more than a decade as VP at Robinson Paving Company. Most recently he worked at Berkeley Research Group on construction claims, forensic scheduling and litigation support.

Patrick has been an operator, a founder, an acquirer and a consultant, so he knows how construction businesses are built and how they are valued. He joined the American Operator bench to put that range to work for operators stepping into ownership. His discipline in estimating and financial management helps new owners protect margin from the first bid.
