Background

Peter Fielder is a senior executive with more than 25 years in B2B specialty chemicals. His work spans ingredients for flavor and fragrance, personal care, pharmaceutical, construction and industrial markets. He has led growth strategies at Emerald Kalama Chemical, Lubrizol, Noveon and BFGoodrich, including running Emerald Kalama’s Flavor & Fragrance business through a European acquisition and global expansion. At CVC Thermoset Specialties, he joined two global manufacturing, sales and R&D operations into one business, and he played a central role in the sale of Lubrizol’s Specialty Polymer division to Emerald.

Today Peter runs The Fielder Group, advising and investing in a portfolio spanning ingredients, specialty chemicals and specialty food. He has sat on various executive boards, including the International Fragrance Association North America and Emerald Kalama Chemical, and he brings that governance discipline to owner-operators taking on established manufacturers. He is also a long-term steward in his own community, working with a local foundation to preserve land for future generations.
