Background

Peter spent seven years as CFO of Town and Country Event Rentals, a premier event rental company serving marquee clients including the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, and NFL franchises, guiding the business through sustained growth to a successful sale in 2022. He built and led the company's major accounts and business development function, pursuing enterprise clients directly and helping engineer a one-stop-shop model that paired at-cost tenting with high-margin specialty rentals. Peter is now a fractional CFO, running an outsourced accounting practice that helps growing companies professionalize their finance function without building one in house.

Why American Operator

Peter lived through his own family’s four-generation small business ownership story and firsthand supported the growth and successful exit of a family-owned company. That experience drew him to American Operator’s mission of keeping great businesses in the hands of operators who will steward them for the long term, not simply extract value from them.

He joined the Advisor Network to put his event and hospitality operating experience to work for owners navigating the same transitions his own family and Town & Country once faced. Peter brings the discipline of a CFO with a genuine feel for the industry—a combination he believes can be especially valuable to new owner-operators as they navigate ownership.
