Background

Travis McDowell is the third-generation owner of Metal Fab Engineering, a metal fabrication and finishing company in rural Indiana that he and his wife took over in 2015. Under his leadership, the business has expanded its capabilities in powder coating, liquid painting, and automation. Travis is also involved in acquisitions and consulting, helping other manufacturers improve operations and build long-term value.

As someone who took over a family business and helped guide it into a new chapter, Travis understands both the responsibility and opportunity that come with ownership. He believes in the importance of keeping manufacturing businesses independent and creating opportunities in local communities.
